Julia Cook, RYT

Julia, founder of Pell City Yoga Center, is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor through Tallapoosa Center for Inner Arts and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance. Her way to yoga started in 2003 in her home country Russia with a small group of people searching their way to themselves. Julia fell in love with yoga from the very beginning although she was not flexible at all and periodically suffered from low back pain and migraines. Yoga helped her to become free from back pain and significantly reduced migraines. By a twist of fate she moved to Pell City, AL, USA in 2011 and continued her yoga journey. Julia is looking to start more yoga classes in the Pell City area and to share the knowledge, she had already acquired over the years of participation, with those who want to practice yoga and benefit from it. She also wants to continue to formally study via seminars, workshops and active participation in classes and enhance her knowledge base for teaching and sharing rewards of this growing life-enhancer called YOGA!.

We are SO EXCITED to introduce our new yoga instructor Julie Brown!
She's been in love with yoga for about 10 years and she’s currently training in Atlanta for her 200 hour YTT, and almost finished!
We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Julie become a part of the Pell City yoga community!
She is a NASM certified personal trainer and her class times will be varied.
Julie teaches a Vinyasa style yoga, creating a flow of steadiness and strength. Her flow builds a relationship between the breath and the comfort of the body's natural abilities, so that each practitioner can find equanimity and balance in each practice! Building physical stability and emotional confidence is also a large part of the flow Julie brings to the mat for her class! Her primary goal is to have each yogi seek out their own power!
